Dr. Mechtler is Associate Professor at the State University New York at Buffalo Department OB/GYN. He was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to Buffalo, New York in 1969. He attended Canisius College premed and graduated from Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest, Hungary in 1984. He completed OB/GYN residency at SUNY Buffalo in 1991 and received his board certification in OB/GYN in 1999. His professional interests are high risk obstetrics as well as daVinci Gynecologic surgeries. He is President and Founder of Snyder OB/GYN, PC in Amherst, NY since 2003. His personal interests are coaching youth soccer, playing competitive tennis in the USTA, traveling, cooking, enjoying music, and finally, he is an avid supporter of Ferencvaros and the Hungarian National soccer teams.
